Where's the Outrage?

The double standards and diabolic doublespeak are surreal, unbelievable.

"Offended" (highly choreographed) Muslim mobs rioted after Muslim troublemakers slipped two offensive cartoons into the original, more benign Danish cartoon mix—but most of the Muslim world stands silently by as more radical elements in the faith engage in the gruesome honor murders of Muslim girls and women—by Muslims.

The Muslim world stands silently by as Christians living in the Middle East and south Asia are not allowed to build churches anywhere in the Muslim world. -- In Saudi Arabia, Christians can only pray quietly, inside their own homes; even then, they remain at risk. And yet, when Terry Jones, the minister of a fifty family church in Florida, promises to burn a Koran—all hell breaks loose among the easily "offended."

Muslims are "offended" when European government leaders propose to ban the burqa—to guarantee female citizens their universal human rights; but, many stand by silenty and fail to utter a peep when more radical Muslims throw acid on the faces of young Muslim girls in Pakistan and Afghanistan whose veils are not up to par.

What is wrong with this picture? Why are so many westerners fooled into believing that Islamic religious and gender apartheid is actually a religious practice as opposed to a highly barbaric form of totalitarian misogny?

: Many Muslims (and their western left-wing supporters) cry "Islamophobia" when Islamist terrorists are arrested for murdering infidels, but are silent about the Muslim genocidal campaign against Jewish Israel, against Christians in Muslim countries. Likewise, only a few Muslims dare condemn the murder of apostates (those Muslims who leave Islam), by Muslims.

And now—amidst a barrage of western mainstream media coverage which is, likewise, "offended" by any challenge to Imam's Rauf's mega-mosque near Ground Zero—easily "offended" Muslims are silent over the fate of 43 year-old Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, the Iranian woman who has been imprisoned since 2006, (that means tortured consistently), then flogged one hundred times and who now faces death by stoning.
Her crime? Sakineh allegedly committed adultery. This can mean anything from she was raped or dared report it, or that she dared to leave a husband against his will.

The pope came out against her stoning, Brazil offered her asylum, and the European Parliament voted 658-1 against stoning as barbarism.

President Obama has, so far, remained silent.

Make no mistake: The Iranians are still committed to her execution but, perhaps, given the international outcry, they may now just hang her. The Iranian authorities now say she also conspired in the murder of her husband. This may mean that he would not stop beating her and would not free her to leave him and that she had nowhere to turn. It may also mean that the Iranian government is flat out lying.

Iran's leaders deny the European Holocaust. They have instigated deadly terrorist attacks against Jews in Argentina and in Israel. (The mastermind of Hezbollah's Argentinian operation is none other than Iran's current Minister of Defense!) Iran has its sights set on the Gulf's oil fields.

They are a clear and present danger to Western civilization and its values—and to all good Muslims who are in their clutches.

I do not think that Minister Jones' decision was "wise" earlier this week but it was clearly his right to burn the Koran. Many Americans who are now in the Obama administration once proudly burned the American flag on American soil. Rightly or wrongly, our laws protected them.

What do you think is more dangerous: A Florida minister who has had enough of "Offendophobia," the fear that Muslims will riot, bomb, blow us all up when they are "offended" and who wants to bell the cat, so to speak-- or an Islamic state like Iran with nuclear power?

When are Westerners, especially those in the White House and Congress, going to stand up to a nuclear Iran and take it down?

Am I crucified with Christ?

Death by crucifixion was surely one of the cruelest and most painful forms of execution ever devised.

Crucifixion is not an instantaneous death, but a very slow and painful death. Just so, the death of a Christian believer to sin does not take place in a moment of special blessing, but - as in physical crucifixion - is painful and slow. Nevertheless, it is basic in the truly effective Christian life.

In the Book of Galatians, we are told three times by the apostle Paul that the Christian believer should be following Christ in His crucifixion

- in crucifixion to self, to the flesh, and to the world.

First we are to be crucified to the love of self. "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" (Gal 2:20)

Secondly, we are to be crucified to the flesh, for "they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts"

Thirdly, we should be crucified to the lure of this world. "God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world" (Gal 6:14)

Read and absorb this story - it says a lot and it tells you about our future in this country if we stay on this same path....

An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single student before but had, once, failed an entire class. The class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism.

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A. After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. But, as the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too; so they studied little.. The second Test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for anyone else. All failed to their great surprise and the professor told them that socialism would ultimately fail because the harder to succeed the greater the reward but when a government takes all the reward away; no one will try or succeed.

Zhisheng has now been missing 57 days. When one brave reporter asked
the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson about Gao, "the official
paled and was visibly shaken," according to a Western journalist who
was an eyewitness.

Zhisheng was last seen being hauled away from his home in Shaanxi
province by more than a dozen police officers on February 4. According
to ChinaAid sources, Gao is being severely tortured. Because Gao
fearlessly cried out to the free world, revealing the abuses of the
Chinese government against house church Christians and others
persecuted in China, Chinese authorities want to silence his voice.

Zhisheng's wife and children, who have also been abused and tormented
by Chinese authorities, escaped to the U.S. three weeks ago. They are
grateful for the more than 36,000 who are speaking out by signing the

Sand vs. Stone

during some point of the
journey, they had an
argument; and one friend
slapped the other one
in the face

The one who got slapped
was hurt, but without
saying anything,

today my best friend
slapped me in the face .

A Cherokee view at internal battle....

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, 'My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.'

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: 'Which wolf wins?'

The old Cherokee simply replied, 'The one you feed.'

Who is the true enemy?

At first, when we look for the enemy of Jesus Christ, and His Church we tend to look over our shoulders, looking for the crowds of confessing unbelievers, people of other religions, which also include those who believe in no one else but themselves and/or their possessions. Some even argue against The Bible without having taken the time and effort to read it???

They are not the "Real Deal". At least they openly oppose the Lordship of Christ, the existence of the all time working Holy Spirit, and our Father and Creator; YHWH.

No the real enemy is to be found among ourselves, false prophets, false saints, false teachers, false preachers, false disciples etc. infiltrated and acted upon by Satan.

The first group is "easy" to deal with, we have our Bible full of instructions and warnings. Even if they seems mighty and powerful, there is plenty of guidance in Scripture to support our battle/argumentation against pagans. A good example could be Davids fight against Goliath.

The troubles start when we have people from "our own lines" twisting and turning God's revealed Word for their own purpose or agenda. Some have very persuasive voices, some have "gifts" (strangely enough, in Danish, gift can mean poison and married) of manipulating and using unfortunate situations and yet others plainly lie.

An example of promoting "my own agenda", though it is clearly against the teachings of The Word of God, can be seen here ( http://www.ucc.org/beliefs/theology/does-god-have-a-plan-for.html ), where Andrew G. Lang, openly gay and holding office at the "United Church of Christ" is making an argument for accepting homosexuality not to be contrary to God's revealed will.

(Understand this: I have nothing against the homosexual person, I am opposed to the sin itself.)

How does it come to this?, my suggestion is; by letting the truth slide bit by bit, and by rationalizing for ones own desire and at the same time build up a desensitization towards the warnings from The Holy Spirit, by worshiping the creation instead of The Creator.
It is like sand at the beach, slowly but surely slipping out between your fingers. Once it has started, it is difficult to get a hold of.

We are stealing the glory from God.

As a counter weight, I'll suggest adding the book; Christless Christianity: The Alternative Gospel of the American Church - by Michael Horton

The book is not yet on the market, but by listening to a series of broadcasts (podcasts) from The White Horse Inn ( http://www.whitehorseinn.org/ ), where the hosts have different denominational and ethnic backgrounds, have been discussing this issue, among a host of other topics, I am convinced, this is a "Must Have" book
